R.I.P. Weyfarer

The Weyfarer's journey has been sadly cut short. I decided to jump over to wordpress instead and you can view my new blog here: http://jonathanephraim.wordpress.com

This blog will self-destruct in T-10...9...8...7...6...5...

RIP, Weyfarer...RIP.

For Starters

Welp. This is it. After much poking and prodding from a few colleagues in the blogal universe, I have finally decided to jump onto the bandwagon, succumb to the peer pressure and start one of my own. If you're reading this, you've discovered my little secret. Congratulations!

I can't guarantee that I'll keep up with it as faithfully as Bri-Bri and the Art, nor can I be sure that it will be as funny as theirs, or as efficacious as Rab's, or as humorous as the Chief's, or as thoughtful as Leb's, or so awesomely titled as Joeliver's. I'm also not very saavy with technology, so I am sure there are a lot of great things I could do with this blog that I will never even know about. Like downloading pictures, for instance...or uploading YouTube videos and such....As you may have noticed, I am also a fairly avid user of the ellipsis....To me, it's like...thinking...pondering...or...hesitating.... Three dots go in the midst of a sentence, four dots at the end. Did you ever learn that in school? Very useful.

The same day that this blog was born, I also witnessed another very happy birth. I haven't named it yet, but it is certainly an exciting new addition to the WeyCoolDeen family. I don't know how Phil feels about it, but with time I think he will come to understand, and perhaps even embrace it with love. I'm talking of course about the lovely new ebony upright piano that sits in the corner of the dining room. Seems a pretty significant purchase to me. Most people (like married people, for instance) talk about how it was their first major purchase as a married couple. Hmmm...I'm not married yet. Should I have waited to make such a big purchase? Am I doing things out of order? But I am sure that the more I use it for writing (which I haven't done in a long time) I won't regret having bought it at all.

Well, this first post has rambled a bit. Time to turn around on this here old pinanner bench and start writing some music. Or at least playing something a little bit. When I learn how, I might even upload some pictures of it.

Tata for now....
